Made at the Monastery Workshop in 2009-2010
Inset in Madrone

This mosaic is handmade with genuine smalti tesserae (enameled glass) and gold leaf tesserae. It is inset into a solid block of wood that is thick enough to stand alone on a shelf.  There is also a hole in the back so it can be hung on a wall with a small nail.  The wooden frame is also made at the Monastery by the monks.
