Fresco Cycle of the Life of St. Germanus of Auxerre

Orthodox Church of Sts. Stephen & St. Germain
Vezelay, Burgundy, France

Painted in the narthex of the Church of St. Stephen and St. Germain, this fresco cycle depicts the life of St. Germanus (Germain) of Auxerre.  Other local saints are also depicted on the walls.  Fresco painting began in the summer of 2007.  Two walls in the room have been completed.
